Molten Arbour Attends US Biochar Initiative Seminar in Wilmington

Molten Abour was pleased to join enthusiast from 13 different countries at the largest event in North America dedicated to advancing the sustainable production and use of biochar through scientific and engineering research, policy development, field practice, and technology transfer. Attendees had the opportunity to

  • Hear from biochar experts about ways to restore and remediate our watersheds

  • Connect with leading biochar businesses, producers and distributors

This year's theme, “The Carbon link in Watershed Ecosystem Services” provided technical topics to accommodate a variety of professional interests, including: Remediation and Restoration; Agriculture, Forestry and Soils; Urban Landscapes; Water, Wastewater and Biosolids; Commercialization, Production and Distribution; Regulatory Policy, Innovative Financing and Watershed Resiliency and Adaptation. 

Molten Arbour Presents at Hinton ADM Roundtable

On March 16th Molten Arbour presented their Biomass Power Generation project to the honorable Assistant Deputy Minister, Michele Evans. The Economic Development Division designs strategies and programs that foster sustainable growth and increase economic resilience. Other attendees included Mark Vandenberghe, Manager at North Central Regional Economic Development Services,  Councillor Dewly Nelson of the Hinton Alternative Energy Team, Peter Bubik of Turning Point Generation, and Holly Driscoll of Environmental and Renewable Industries. 

Province, Enmax settle lawsuit surrounding return of electricity contract

The provincial government has reached a settlement with Enmax, ending a legal battle dating back almost two years after the city utility tried to return a money-losing electricity contract to the government.
